cabinet doors hard to open

I have a Park Liner and the interior wooden storage doors that have the round roller spring loaded hinges, a few are very hard to open. Is there a way to adjust these for least tension (I see no slots in the mounts to adjust) the springs are just too tight.
Do I just need to replace? Or do you just file down the fiberglass opening at the point where the latch is ?

I don't own a Parkliner and it would have been helpful if you had posted a photo of the catches you have.... however if it is the type of cabinet catch where the door has a metal piece that is bent into a modified V shape with the V bent out rather like an arrow shape then that is easy enough to adjust. Just use pliers to gently squeeze it so it is slightly narrower across the width. Don't be too aggressive, do a little bit, test, if needed a little more. You don't want the doors to come open. But of course you can spread it back open a little if required. If the shape gets a little too long then the roller side needs to be slid further back.

Filing down the edge of the fiberglass is probable best.
I added spring loaded struts to hold the doors up.
They also hold them closed, so I removed a few of the rollers.

I think you will find that the screws go though a SLOT and not a circular hole. But that is hidden by the washers. Loosen the screws a little and the latch will likely slide back and fourth a little. If that does not work you need to just relocate the latch. That can be a bit tricky. I just had to do that when I cut the opening in the fiberglass to make the cabinet a little wider.

Its a very cheap latch so finding a better quality type might be a idea also.

If you need to move the screw holes you can fill them up with some of the kneadable epoxy putty stick material. That stuff dries nice and hard and sets quickly, but give it an extra day to reach full strength for this kind of task. That will allow you to drill a new hole much closer to the original than you could if you did not use such a strong filler in the original hole. Hardware stores carry this item.

I replaced that type with magnetic latches. Several sizes and strengths are available.
