Because camper Conveerter Boxes have a built in AC and DC Distribution panels along with circuit breakers and fuses and include the DC power supply / battery charger, It may prove to be the least expensive way to wire and/or rewire your camper.

No need for an additional AC Box as the AC wiring goes directly to the Converter Box - Is Circuit breaker then to the AC wiring inside the camper. The same for the DC - Fused and to your DC distribution.

Check out this EBay seller for a plethora of camper items to include the Converter Boxes.

Hi Darwin,
I just finished my 12v wiring and it all works fine.
However if I had fully understood that a converter box would not only merge all the power sources (that I knew) , but also negate the need for a breaker box, I probably would have gone that route. (That presumes the converter box itself is of high quality and reliability!)

So keeping my systems separate is probably more trouble free, but does not have the battery charging capabilities a converter system would offer.
