Can AC pull in wasps?

I was moving back in to my 2015 SD17 Casita, when I noticed and had to kill a wasp. I had been testing the AC using a generator the previous day, so I was afraid there was a wasp nest in the AC and one had been pulled inside the Casita. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I'd like to think the AC just circulates interior air, and does not actually move unfiltered air from outside to inside. It is possible the wasp rode in to the Casita on me, which while scary, would be preferable.

I have not seen any wasps hanging around the AC unit. I searched around for a nest, but have not seen one. I didn't particularly want to climb on the roof, pull off the AC cover, and get attacked by a bunch of wasps.

You are correct. A/C does not mix inside and outside air.

Nests inside the housing are not uncommon. Wouldn’t hurt to keep an eye on that area for a while. Hopefully this was just a random encounter.

Wasps will find an opening where they can eventually build a nest. I can offer one opening right off the bat, which could allow a wasp or other insects into your home, is the power cable opening. Grommets are made to help seal off this opening and make it a little more restrictive. Next, any vent opening could be a possibility also.
