Can you help me?

I know this is outside the molded FG site, but I need some help with a siding problem. My Sunland Express is sided with Filon and it has gotten "hairy" over time. The fibers are starting to show their rough side. Does anyone have experience as to how to repair this problem.
I've been on this site not because I have a FG trailer, but because I like to help out with others problems when I can. I used to do RV repairs back when they were first pulled by T-Rexes. And you think YOU have problems. LOL
Thanks for ANY help you can supply on a site to go to.

Reading says Filon sheets are a type of fiberglass sheet often used on trailers. Resins and gelcoat; gelcoat comes clear non tinted or you could tint. "Spray?" Have no experience with Filon but coloured spray may mitigate the sheet break down.
