carpet on ceiling

Hi I'm having trouble getting my new carpet to stick to the ceiling of my burro. I glued the foil to the center strip without any problems. I have tried two kinds of contact cement liquid and gel without any sucess. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Nyle

I used 3M 90. Even in the Texas heat and humidity it ssems to be working great.

Thanks Vicki, did you use regular carpet?

if I used 3M 77 last summer & it is not sticking... can I now use the 3M 90 on top of that & have it stick?

Nyle - no, I put in Flex Form - I guess it's a vehicle carpet, sort of. No backing on it .

Barry, bet you will have to clean everything off and start over.
(I know, not what you wanted to hear!!)
