Cheap site light

Hi, just another light. We put one of our solar lawn lights in a cupboard in the Bigfoot. When needed, open the cupboard pick it up and go where you must. It stays lit all night and does not shine through a closed cupboard door. Put it back outside during the day to charge up and light up your evening camping spot until bedtime. We pack two, a great evening light and totally portable. Cheers, trapper

We carry a couple of thiose little solar ones too..got 6 inna box at Aldi for less than $2 each! They are nice but the prongs are easy to break off. "momma" likes the soft moonglow of the bucket lite better ;-)

We have not graduated to the Fiberglass camper yet. We use an older pop-up for our outdoor adventures. Last Christmas I found some nifty LED "puck" lights that are controlled by a little remote. I have put magnets on the back and attach them to the frame of the pop-up when we set-up camp. We also adapted several with Velcro for use inside the camper.



When the 3AM call to the restroom happens I click the remote and lights come on in & out of the camper so we can find our way. The lights I use are adjustable from burn you eyes out bright to a nice glow. It is really nice to be able to see around the camper at 0-dark-thirty.

The LED 'candles' work quite nicely as night lights, they are dim enoguh that we can sleep just fine, and provide adequate light for findign the bathroom... the one I put in the bathroom is only sligthly brighter and provides enough light to hit the target ...

Awhile ago I bought a 50-pack of CR2032 batteries from Digikey (*real* panasonic batteries in OEM bulk pack)... I'm not even half way through them a couple years later (they have an excellent shelf life).

Can still use the bucket for waterproofness, but place a Luci light inside. It charges via solar during the day and will last thru the night. Has low, high, flashing settings. Only $7 more.

The nice thing is you can touch the tops to light them or use the remote. The ones on the inside of the camper I set to a dim setting the ones with the magnets attached to the frame outside are bright enough to scare off intruding critters poking around the camp site.

Yup...we always try to get a campsite where our extension cords reach...or run really fast b4 the light fades out, if the cord comes unplugged.
