Checklist for Maiden Voyage with the Boler!

I hate to be a bother but I know in the past I've seen checklists of supplies and procedures for what to pack and do before leaving for a trip but I can't seem to find any of them! I've even googled it and keep coming up with the weirdest things -
We are taking our girl out for the very first time (10 sleeps!!!) and really I'd love the best tips and 'must haves/must dos' in terms of heading out for that camping trip. Again, I hate to be asking for something that has already been asked about and is floating about on here but I just can't find the info for some goofy reason using the search.
Heck, even if you have one good tip and can take a moment - fire away!
Cheers

Go to the home page. Left side select document center.
You will find it under misc. documents.
Have a wonderful time, take some games for the kids and enjoy.

Donna D. frequently suggests doing a trial camping trip in your driveway first. That way you are not far from what you might need.

Some people are fortunate in having a campsite within a short commuting distance for their first camp.

An alternate way to go to the same place:
  • Go to the top of THIS page
  • Click on the MORE tab
  • Select DOCUMENT CENTER
  • Select MISCELLANEOUS DOCUMENTS
  • Select ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE CHECKLIST
  • Click DOWNLOAD

I wrote it specifically for my Fiber Stream. I hope you take the time to create one specific for your Boler using that one as a template. There may be differences that might make no sense to you.

Above all, bring a pad and pen so you can write down things you should bring next time. AND REMEMBER if you bring some money you can always pick up whatever you have forgotten. You will be fine if you forget some things (just makes it more interesting).

For developing a list of what to take, I make a list based on the rooms in my house (sort of) - kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. This helps organize things for me and I remember better. I also put a general menu together which helps determine what food I need to load. I usually have some staples that are always in the trailer.
Another memory jogger when making your list, is to imagine one day (from getting up, brushing your teeth, making coffee, etc through the end of the day) and use that to plug any holes in your list of supplies.
