I'm trying to source the 3M scotchcal paint protection film or similar product to put across the front
of my 17' Bigfoot and the tailgate of my TV. The best so far is out of Star Shield Armor in California
at 3'x8' for $180. Has anyone used this or a similar product and can source a lower price?

But at 2'x200' for $99.95, I'd say it's a better deal than you're looking at!

I bought the pre-cut paint protection film from an ebay seller and applied it to our new car. It cost about $40 delivered and worked great. They sell the same stuff on a roll for about $1 per sq foot. I don't know if it is strong enough to prevent gravel damage but at that price, you could apply two layers.

The ventureshield looks very similar to the 3M product and at a much more affordable price. Will check it out more throughly. There are a number of products out there but most are very expensive. A quote from Victory Vinyls in Calgary for a similar 3M product put the price way out of reach.
The Transit Shield looks interesting but is not a permanent application.

at an affordable price and the company is very willing to ship to Canada. Anyone in Canada interested

Can I buy in Calgary Canada? Yes. But it always amazes me that I can source out of the USA
and have it shipped and save anywhere up to 60-70% than to buy locally.

There is a place in Calgary - Trim-Line 291-2777. I had the 3M film put on the front of my car to prevent rock chips, etc. and it's an excellent product. I had it on my last car as well. It's great because its clear and blends in with the color of your vehicle and you can't tell it's there (although I believe you can get it colored). I've never had a problem with it. What a great idea for a trailer! Great protection with a "clean" look.
