Clean Vinyl Runner over rug

WARNING!!! This spring I purchased a fitted clear vinyl runner for my Scamp. DON'T DO THIS!!! It builds up and holds moisture under the runner, on top of the rug. If I leave it there, I am sure my floor will rot!


Maybe if you live in a southern climate where you don't have the hot days and cold nights there would not be a problem for you. But the trailer getting warm during the day with then the cold floor at night is not good with the runner.

What you observed makes sense. I have an old wool runner over the carpet and it feels warm on bare feet and to clean up, I just pull it out and shake it.
