12volt CO sniffer alarm annoying me. Had so much trouble resetting at Elk Neck St. Pk. in MD. last weekend that I cut the lead. Today I put a "bullet" type disconnect on it so that I can disable at will. Initially alarm went off several times and then settled down. There is no source of CO in operation. Is it true that blowing the dust out of the sensor mech may help? I'd like to have it at nite when the
propane furnace is in operation if I can get rid of the random triggering. It is hardwired only; no
battery backup. Do I need a new one? I can't believe the difference in price over a
propane detector.
