Compact Jr Walls

So I picked up an compact jr and the previous owner sprayed insulation on the wall.

I’m looking for opinions: should I remove it? Or put a wall over it? What can I use?

A prior owner of our Campster, which is very similar to yours, removed every thing from the walks. We have bare painted fiberglass. It looks ok and functional in nice weather. However, on a rainy day with two humans and a dog in there, it turns into a terrarium. Some kind of insulation with an attractive surface would be ideal. I think in our case we have agreed that it is a fair-weather trailer and we will live with it as is.

If the previous did a good job with the walls, I would glue marine headliner to the insulation. It can easily be stretched to conform to multiple angles and it will not only look great, but it will help keep condensation at bay. Marine headliiner is used in boats, so it is designed to not hold odors, resist mold and stains. It can be purchased in a variety of colors and textures. I got ours on-line from West Marine.
Best of luck

Thanks for this advice! Best place to buy marine headliner?

Talked to PO again. It’s actually NOT foam insulation.

He added sheets of insulation called Thermal Max R and the plastered the walls.

should I remove the plaster and cover the existing insulation with marine headliner or vinyl?

I’m really leaning towards removing it. What’s the lightest material for framing?
