I went out to peek on my trailer and decided to do a quick lookie -loo under the benches and discovered dampness....GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
recently we had snow....lots of snow and it melted SLOWLEY so I'm wondering if its a belly band issue due to the fact its covered on top........ay yi yi.......

Do you have any vents/openings of ANY kind from the outside that access under the benches? The snow blew sideways here in Portland and for the first time I can see where water doesn't necessarily need to run top down. It can move just as well sideways!

well I was knee deep in gas leak issues with my home so I had to put said water problem off to the side....wouldn't ya know it it starts raining sheets of rain........**double curse** aaaaahhhh whatever....i like a good project.......sort of ....but water come on guess it could be worse it could be ants.....hummm oh well

From what I can tell on my Boler (and from the brochure), the horizontal seam that the belly-band covers is completely fiberglassed over on the inside. This should mean that the belly-band trim is completely cosmetic, and that even its rivet holes would not be able to leak into the inside of the trailer (if they did leak).

I would first suspect a window or window-frame leak or maybe a closet or kitchen rivet... Water could have run behind the ensolite (or rat fur) to end up in the area under the benches.

Of course I can't see what your cover covers.

first thing tomorrow I'm on it....thanks for the window reminder....I wouldn't be so bummed but I just painted the inside PAINSTAKINGLY kicking and screaming.......the thought of having to tear away any ensolite makes me cringe...............hopefully HOPEFULLY its a minor leak that I failed to see upon putting it to bed for the winter....Oh well could be worse it could be a "sticky".......

Brandy---- I see several problems here-----#1 you live in "Swampland". Now, seriously, are you sure it is a leak and not condensation? If you have not had any heat in there, that is what it could very well be. With temps above freezing over here in the flatland desert the last couple days, everything is sweating and dripping. Larry

I tend to concur on the condensation side Brandy, ESPECIALLY if you'd closed everything up, windows, cupboards, underseat storage, roof vent, etc.
Can you put an electric heater in the Disco Palace for a coupla days an open ALL cupboards, closet and storage areas?? Wouldn't hurt.....

I had a leak in my new (1976) Trillium after a deluge of rain we had a few days ago when that horrible front moved thru the area. All of the water was in the compartment under the seat area. On further investigation using a water hose, I found a tiny little space around the corner of the window above the seating area where it was leaking.....a little caulk easily and quickly took care of the problem.
