Cutting access into bench

I was thinking of cutting an opening in the front of the bench seat (as pictured) and add cabinet door for portapotty. Currently I have bench seat and want to change to dinnette with small table but not sure how difficult it is.

The big concern is the dust. This is how I did it on my Scamp.

We had a Uhaul which is almost identical to a Burro. I cut a couple access openings in the interior. Round the corners to help prevent cracks there. After cutting the openings I reinforced them with plywood inside the compartment.

Cutting new, or enlarging existing, cutouts isn't rocket science. I've done several such installations. I installed a larger, (taller,) shore power access hatch outside to replace the inconvenient little one the trailer came with, (which kinda always reminded me of trying to put a gag gift spring snake back in the can,) and a marine-style shore power cord twist-lock fitting for hooking up the shore power. Now I just give the cord a twist and unplug it, and just coil it up for storage.

I also added another access hatch below my front closet, when I installed a floor in the closet at the level of the bottom of the main cabinet door.
