I'm looking for an insignificant, long, and evidently brittle vinyl finisher for the hinge rail of the gravel shield.

The shield did at one time have a sticker in the underneath corner identifying something, so I'm asking anyone with a turn-of-the-century Burro with a gravel shield to please take a look to see if it still has a sticker with enough on it to identify the manufacturer (it is not Hehr). There is a HUGE finder's fee for this. Well, not really.

The one that covers the screws going into the Burro body? I've been looking for that too.
What's even more maddening is I SAW it somewhere once, in a RV place I think.

No sticker on mine either Per.

Inlandrv.com shows the mounting plate ( do a search in parts for guard) But alas no cover over the screws.
But maybe if you give them a call.......

pjanits:

Thanks, and thanks to you all for taking pity on me. That last link may lead to something, so I will pursue it and other leads. If I have any success I'll eventually post it.

Now that you post the name, my middle aged memory is active.

I saw the sticker Per was looking for when I did the solar panel mod.. BUT.. it was loose and flaking off and I just finished the job.

Didn't look closely, but it seems that Al-Rite was the name.. and those guard certainly LOOK like the same one.
