do you want to buy MaxxAir vents?
Hi everyone!
In response to my email to the company that used to sell MaxxAir vents for windows, here is their reply.
Good Day Theresa,
I want to thank you for your inquiry as you are one of many I have received an interest regarding the WindowMaxx.
Unfortunately we do not supply this product any longer. Actually when our company purchased Maxxair this product had been discontinued by the previous owner and we only supplied what inventory was left until the inventory had been depleted. That was several years ago and to my knowledge the product is not available anywhere.
I will pass your interest on to our marketing and engineering team and possibly with enough interest the product will be reviewed.
With Kind Regards,
Annual Holiday Calendar Schedule Closing:
Sept. 3rd, Nov. 22nd, 23rd, Dec. 24th 25th, Dec. 31st, 2018

SOOOOOOOOOOO, if all those who desire to purchase these terrific vents sent emails to this woman, perhaps the company will view this as interest enough to consider a re-manufacture! Wouldn't that be awesome? The power of the people may work!

I was lucky to find one two years ago, by questioning the databases of different suppliers in my Quebec province, I finded one in the Outaouais region.
In communicating with Maxxair, I got the same answer as you from this lady.
To be several to ask, as you say, they will perhaps start a production.
Thank you.

Thank you for posting this, Theresa. A friend of mine had one of these in their Lil Bigfoot years ago; it did a great job.
I sent an email just now.

:I think if you can get the manufacturer's of these trailers and all other RV owners to write this lady then possibly they might start making them again. But first one has to see them working and know more about them.

The Maxxair window vent is a simple louvered piece that fits over a small area of a sliding window. It allows the window to be open in the rain. That's all it is, no fan involved

We have one now. had it for almost 10 years and love it. allowing the window to be open in the rain is such a necessity both of our windows are sliders. but we want to keep the other one open also so need a second vent. Herein lies our problem since we cannot find one. And this window opens below our awning.....which does not cover that window at the end where it opens.

Little House Customs which used to install these and bought tons of them direct from suppliers, has said he had no luck convincing them to manufacture them again.

:so your saying it is a cowl of some kind that stops the weather from coming in?? similar to the kind that fits above a car window on the Door Frame, one can roll window's down 2-3" without water getting in or other weather. I would think if someone got light duty metal like stainless steel or Aluminium and bent it to fit would work for a trailer??

Window styles go through fads. Radius sliders are not so common any more. Sadly, a few molded trailers won't justify the costs to restart production.

Some have bought a marine louver vent and made their own, others have made small awnings for over the windows

It is not manufactured with machining. It is heat formed from plastic.

Maxx
I stopped in a small RV shop yesterday to get some wax and I saw two Window Maxx vents marked down to $43.99 each.
I picked up a business card:
Havey Home & RV Sales & Supply, inc.
385 N. Main St.
Andover OH 44003
440-293-6229
I don't believe they have an interscreen site, you would have to call and ask if they can mail it to you.

One would need a particular size for a particular window, I am guessing. Or are theu sort of a universal fit?

I want to thank you so much for posting this. I contacted the shop and they located them. They were nice enough to ship them to me even though they typically just sell from their storefront.
