Does anybody know what the red glue is that scamp uses

I'm peeling back a bunch of the rat fur and insulation for a bunk support replacement project. That red glue is super sticky. What's the equivalent I can use to get it all back in place up against the shell?

3M-77 or 90 spray adhesive.

remove the old sticky red contact cement with lacquer thinner rather than spray over it. Old contact cement should be dry to the touch, and it can be sprayed over. New spray should be tacky, to determine if it is ready, you dab a piece of paper against the sprayed surface if it sticks it is not ready.

I would caution against 3M77. It’s a light duty, craft-grade adhesive for paper and cloth. It’s for indoor use and won’t stand up to high temperatures and moisture. I have read too many accounts of failures when used to attach headliner. Go with 3M90.

When I removed the elephant skin and cleaned the surface with Lacquer thinner, I them modified a spray gun and sprayed contact cement on the surface and the back side of the rat fur. It worked real well. [ATTACH]143710[/ATTACH

Looks like it's harder to find than 3m 90 spray. Can't even get that up here in Alaska

I bought spray can 18 oz. 3M Headliner Adhesive on Amazon
It states on the can;;; " Exceptional strength bonds heavyweight automotive fabric and foam headliner materials ".
I looked for code number found none.
I had some torn foam resilient foam bedding , worked well. I have used spray contact cement in wood working, 3M is a good product.

I've noticed there's a number of different 3m products that are identified as headliner adhesive. Is the one you use called yellow headliner adhesive? That's the only kind I can find at auto parts stores

my thinking. Red color when spraying.
color depth or intensity lets one know how much has been applied to the surface. spraying the inside of our egg shells with a color close to the color of the fiberglass would be hard to tell where you have been
yellow, is used used in industrial mechanical spraying, it is controlled by settings
I never hand sprayed large surfaces with a yellow. I have bought gallons and quarts; all yellow, hand painted or rolled.
I have only seen red contact cement in 5 and 55 gal. drums for work shop spraying
