Hard to tell from the picture. Does it feel like its about a 1/4 inch thick?
Vinyl with semi hard foam rubber backing?
Then it probably is.

I wonder if it is ensolite that someone has painted with some kind of unusual covering?

If you can peel off a corner and see the back, it should be black and thick foam like material with a vinyl covering on the outside.

Will do! Just saw another thread with another newbie asking the same question about the interior of their Boler....

Thanks Carl

Hmmm, there's nothing black, or foam like on the backing of my foam (that looks like this). Part of my issue with it, is that it lets in enough light that my kids are going to be up at the crack of dawn

Wondered if painting it would help make it more opaque....

Not sure what you have, but the light thing would not fly for my family. One of the functions of Ensolite is insulation, the other is to keep light from going throug the walls. That black foam works for that.
