After waiting for the insurance company to settle, then waiting for the RV repair shop to remove the appliances, we are finally ready to start our flood restoration.
Yesterday I started to demolish. Took off all of the T-molding, removed the flip up child bunks over bed area and removed the flip up bunk at the front. Removed all the cupboard doors and drawers. Removed all of the ugly old curtains. Took off the panelling covering the window frames because it was looking kind of water damaged and discovered that the window frames are rotten in spots
So our first major repair is going to be pulling the
windows and replacing the frames. I see on the outside the window is screwed in, I assume the screws go through the aluminium window, then through the FG and into the wooden window frames. Any advice, tips, trick or links to thread on this would be appreciated.
