Actually, it’s never coming on. No matter which source of power we choose, the correct
lights turn on but blink off after two seconds.
My husband usually handles these things on our 2008
Casita 17, but because he is very ill, it’s on me to get this fixed. I just want to see in advance of calling the mobile RV guy if anyone can tell me what it sounds like it could be so I’m semi informed and don’t
fall for something.
Two weeks before his diagnosis, my husband checked everything outside of the actual
fridge to see if there was an external problem. He was checking all the switches and fuses under the bed (inverter?), tested the
battery and
propane, and unplugged and re-plugged a cord outside in the
fridge compartment. I wasn’t paying that much attention, obviously. We decided we’d deal with it when it was cooler and we had more time since we were in the middle of a move to TX and it was HOT at the storage facility. That was in April, and sadly, we’ve recently realized we won’t be camping again, so I have to get it fixed to sell.
If anybody could rattle off a list of other things to check, I think I can use the A-Z book and google to glean enough of an understanding to hold my own with a repairman. Thank you!
