Dometic RM2193 burner cover box

Hi there,

I am looking for a Dometic RM2193 burner cover box. Dometic has listed a bunch of dealers in Vancouver BC on their website, but none of them is aware of being Dometic dealer and none can help me.

The part can be used or new - I just need to cover the flame. Any help would be much appreciated,

Hi,

I have an RM 2193 in my trillium. Parts are available but expensive.

The burner cover part number is 2952083018.

Internet search did no turn one up... Drat!

It should not be too hard to make one out of some sheet aluminum, although it sure would be easier to do that if one could borrow a cover to make a duplicate.

Galvanized would be better. Find someone who installs metal roofs.

Yes, that is the direction I am going to take. I will just make is out of sheet metal.

But, in general, what's the best way to get a part for a Dometic fridge? Obviously the dealer network that they have listed on their website is not accurate (to say the least).

If you want I can measure the cover's dimensions and send a photo?
I can't get it all the way off the refrigerator because of clearances.

Sorry, I could not take cover all the way out... It would have
required removal of the refrigerator.
