Door gap boler

Finally doing it... asking for help!
Have been a member for many years reading, enjoying the wisdom & feeling the comradery of the community.
Thanks
Now am trying to close the gap in my daughter's 13 ft Boler. (Mine is a 17 footer)
Have read everything can find from here & boler.ca.
-drilled holes in door bottom
-put extra bolts in door hinges to lift (this helped)
No brass ball on these hinges.
There is the classic body bulge on hinge side of door near the metal brace.
Door lower on left with gap on bottom side.
My next plan , maybe today, is to jack up roof on inside and see if possible to add a shim under metal brace.
Any thoughts?
Of course am looking for the simplest way to get this door to close better. No little visitors this winter!
Thanks will try to add photos

Where to jack?

Hi Folks
Does anyone have a suggestion about where to place the board in order to jack up the hinge side of door?
Have tried placing board in center of door jam with no succes.
Here are a few more photos.
Any thoughts about what is actually going on here would be greatly appreciated.does seem like pulling in bulge would help.
Thanks
Ps.am hoping this will add to my original post.

From the one photo, it appears that the curvature of the door has changed and no longer matches the curve of the trailer body. Is that about right? Or is hinge sag causing the curvature to just look mismatched?

That trailer looks like quite a rehab project.

That is your problem. 2nd photo (the one with the boot in it) shows it very well.
If you only want to try something for the winter. You can use one of those cargo bars.

https://www.harborfreight.com/2-in-1...bar-66172.html
Put one end on the floor just in front of the bench. put the other end on a piece of wood to spread the load on the ceiling/roof. Crank her up a bit and you should see the body by the hinges pull in & the door gap close a bit.

If you need more details, send me a pm with your tel # & we will see how well our new Canada/USA phone plan works this weekend.

As a secondary comment the trailer is also sitting very low.

One of the members here used a locking knob on the top of his door to secure it while traveling.

After you get your door aligned you could put one on the top and bottom to keep the door closed. I plan on this on my 76 Scamp.

These locking knobs are available at any RV center or online. You drill a hole, insert them, and add the nut on the back. You can add washers to shim out the cam if needed. The cam engages the lip of the camper doorway. If you put one on the top and bottom corners of the latch side, it will pull the curved door into the same shape as the body. This will help close any gaps and keep out critters.

Note that the two pictures loaded sideways. One shows the knob from the outside and the other from the inside.
