Hi, I would have been busy out there but it got cold again!!! I will get it inside tomorrow and see what i can do with it. I need to fix that before it goes to get a new spare tire cover at the Amish guys place. I wanted to go camping next week but have to see about this weather. Janet

I just remembered today to check my door lock to see if I can lock it from the inside if I leave the key 'centered' in the vertical position as Bob suggested. And Halleluyeha!! it works! Man, I've had this thing for a few years and never thunk of that!! Bob, you made my weekend!!

I too found the answer to my lock problems. My favorite helper guy came to hlep, how about that, my camper lock was one of the first issues addressed. We took it apart, nothng sprang out as one of you folks told me, lubed it and just checked out the workings. All at once the way it works became obvious - not how I thougt it works, my bad. It is doing all the things one wants from a lock now. Thanks to the good advice from the site I didn't buy a new one. We also took of the rock guard that had been painted but not repaired first. It goes back to the paint shop this week. Happy day dance!
