Egg camper for someone tall

I have a friend interested in an egg camper. I can't seem to find any threads on campers for tall people.

Can someone recommend campers that would be good for my friend who is 6'1" tall?

I believe the ParkLiner, EggCamper, and Lil Snoozy fit taller people.
I'm sure there are more and others will chime in.

Funny thing about your title, it rings true: Eggcamper is a brand made especially for tall people!

Tall People

I am slightly under 6 Ft 2 in and have not experienced a height problem in my 16 ft Scamp or my 17 ft Casita trailer . Now my 6 Ft 7" son in law does have a problem with my car and my trailer but he is actually TALL.

It really isn't about standing up straight inside one of these all molded trailers... it a whole lot more about comfortable sleeping! Your friend needs to make certain he/she can sleep comfortably for hours rather than worrying if he/she can stand up straight to put on a pair of pants. These are for the most part small trailers and owners spend a big bunch of time outside where the sky is the limit.

I am a little over 6'2" and have no problems moving about or sleeping in my Scamp 5er.

Jim, the owner of EggCamper is 6'4" and designed the EggCamper for tall folks. Inside ceiling is 6'7" and the inside width is 86" at the bed. I have a 54" x 80" mattress in mine and there is clearance at both head and foot.

Don't know for sure about other brands. I've been in some but I tend to duck instinctively in other folks campers since I already have a few topside dents from vent cranks and AC housings.

BTW - I'm 6'1" and it fits me. I have a 6'7" son and a 6'5" grandson and both of them have no trouble with either headroom or sleeping room. It is one of the reasons I went with an EggCamper.

My husband is 6'2". We had a 16' Scamp, a Scamp 5er (Deluxe) and now an Escape 5.0. The Escape is the most comfortable for him. He can stand up inside without hitting his head on the A/C and can sleep comfortably. The Scamp 5er probably would have worked better if it had not been he Deluxe model. The Deluxe model (which is really nice with the wood interior) has the bed running from side to side which made it a little short for him. The standard model has the bed front to back so you can use the bunk to extend the main bed to be long enough.
We are really happy with the Escape 5.0 Classic. Escape is in the process of replacing the 5.0 Classic with a slightly larger, tandem axle 5.0.

ParkLiner's are small, lightweight, loaded with stuff, and to top it all off, are like 6' 4" or 6' 5" inside, I forget which, but suffice it to say plenty of room for your buddy!

Hi! I am 6 foot, and I have plenty of room in mine. I have an Escape 5.0. They are no longer in production as a newer 5.0 Tandom Axle is now replacing the single axle. I have to duck some to get in but once in, I have plenty of room. Even in the 5th wheel section... I can sit on the end of the bed with plenty of room.
