Elec & propane

So I’m plugged in at a great boondockers welcome place. But I need to heat some water. Can I turn propane on for just that short time or do I need to turn off AC current when I turn propane on?

I have a 13 ft Scamp. The smallest dometic refrig. I can adjust the coldness when I use propane but I don’t seem to have any way to adjust the coldness when im plugged in. My fruit and veggies get frozen! Any suggestions?

You can use both propane and electric at the same time. We just run the water heater when we are using hot water. Turn it off otherwise.
