Had a short in 12vdc system in
Casita L/D, as usual, I took the long way around. Finally to narrow it down to the 12volt
light fixture itself. (should have started on on that end) the pigtail in the fixture had worn a groove to one side of the button, and this allowed the 12vdc a straight shot to ground across the bulb. quick fix was to file the terminal on the bulb flat so the button didn't slide off to one side of the bulb terminal. actually need to replace the pig tail or put a blob of rtv on the pigtail contact to keep it from sliding to the side of the groove it has worn. Of course I'll take the easy way out and see how long my temporary fix will last. Just something to think about. A lot of times we make it more difficult than it really is. Remember the KISS principle. Happy Camp'en James.........
