hello all. i am new to the
fiberglass trailers. i just picked me up a '99
scamp 16'er. i am fixing to add an a/c unit into the bottom of the closet, with ducting to seperate hot/fresh air. also am pondering adding hot water. in my parents store, they have a small sink that was plumbed with only cold water. while at home depot, we found a small (4 gal?) water heater. 110V ac. it measures 14x13x15. we picked it up and stuffed it under the sink behind the counter door. works great, heats water really fast. i was contemplating adding one for when im hooked to city water. i have no bathroom/shower in mine, so wont need much. just enough to do our few dishes while we are on the road. i plan to use the trailer just for road trips. cruising cross country and such. keeping
weight down is a MUST as my tow vehicle is a 1962 AMC Rambler Classic. but i want as much convinence as possible. any thoughts on mounting something like this under the sink in the 16'er? pics can be viewed at
