Electric water heater temp adjustment

Evening all,

Im trying to prepare our new to us scamp for our first outing next weekend and came upon an interesting conundrum. Our scamp has the combined electric/propane hit water heater, and I can't seem to find the temp adjustment. The scamp video shows the adjustment to be by the pilot light, but that is for the propane only heater.

Anyone out there have one of these water heaters and can enlighten me on the location of the water heater temp adjustment.

Thanks again for all the help

Paul

Thats interesting I thought Scamp only offered gas water heaters. Either way whats the make and model of your water heater - you should be able to find a manual for it on the manufactures web site.

Perhaps a previous owner added something like this product that goes in the place of the anode rod, that would have markings on it that you could look-up how to make temperature adjustments to.

The water heater is an Atwood gc6a-10e, a factory installed option. I actually have the owners manual but can't find a temp adjustment

Any thoughts?

http://manuals.adventurerv.net/Atwoo...er-Service.pdf read through this and supposedly thermostat is pre-set at 140 degrees cycles on at 115 degrees.

Post a picture of the water heater itself.
That way we can see what your looking at.

Hambone, I don't know how I missed that in the manual earlier. Looks like an adjustable thermostat is available to purchase separately.

Here's a photo of the hot water heater, and thanks for the help
