Emergency exit window in Casita FD

We just purchased a 2010 Casita FD. We are going through the trailer, seeing how everything works and fixing what needs fixing before we take it out for the first time. We opened up the emergency exit window and it came out but now we can't seem to get the top of the window to stay in place.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice for us?
