Evaporative Cooler in Scamp 13?

Anyone have experience using an evaporative cooler in a Scamp 13 or similar? If so, please share your results, etc.

We reside and do most all of our camping in AZ and the desert SW. We have a week-long stint of Scamping and volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary just north of Kanab, UT, in mid-June. Climate is generally very dry. Elevation is about 5000'. I don't mind warm days, but need cool to sleep!
