Fantastic fan
Trying to find info on my fantastic fan. While camping and plugged up to 30 amp, the fan slowly stopped. All other electric fine.
Thanks,
Emily

If the fan is malfunctioning, the FF mfr will probably replace it for free. I've heard that they have fantastic customer service.
If you could check with a tester to see if power is still present in the wires leading to the fan, that will narrow it down.

30 amp service does not mean that your fan was using all 30 amps.
30 amps ARE AVAILABLE if you have many appliances running at one time that, combined, need 30 amps.

Could be a blown fuse. Could be a bad switch in the fan itself. Does it have a thermostat? That would make it shut off by itself.

If the vent is closed, or even party closed, the fan will stop. Hope this helps. Jim

Check the fuse on the fan and the fuse at the distribution panel. Also try "working" the switches ( turning them off and on). A dirty switch will sometime briefly come on, indicating it needs cleaning. Raz

Does it have a thermostat? My Maxx fan has one and if set for thermostat control, as the temperature in the trailer drops, it slows down & eventually stops.

When we picked up our trailer, the fan worked great on the way home.
This week we went out again and the fan did not work. The light on the switch did not work. I was a bit frustrated. The daughter flipped it on in camp and it started working and the switch light was working. Later I turned it on and the fan still worked but the light on the switch didn't work.
I guess a new switch can be dirty? Or just faulty.

Too many assumptions here. First what does "All other electric fine." Did you actually try the 12 lights?
The battery charges when you tow, hence worked for awhile worked great on the way home. "Went out again and fan did not work." Didn't work at first, didn't work after running a while,?
Remember the fan runs off the 12 volt system. If the converter is turned off, fuse blown, circuit breaker tripped, then the battery will run down and the fan will stop working.

On mine, the lights (12v) worked fine.
I'm thinking my unit has a problem in the control panel.
Haven't checked it yet.
Don't know if OP has resolved theirs yet.

I had an inside overhead 12 volt light and the outside entry light that worked now and then. It turned out to be a "scotch-lock" connection under the curb side dinette that had caused the problem.

Imagine that. If I ever meet the guy that designed those, he's going to get a swift kick in the rear.
