Fiberglass pulling away form bottom edge

Hello, I bought a used fiberglass Palomino 27' trailer and after a couple years the fiberglass is pulling away from the bottom on one side. It looks like it was held on with a bead of caulk on the outside. I can easily pull it away from the wall so I suppose water got up in there over the winter and debonded it. I know I can just run a bead of caulk along the bottom to hold it to the side but is there something I can do that would be better? Like glue it first and try some moulding along the bottom edge?

Not a molded FG trailer. Sounds like the typical composite wall design. Read up on siding delamination, its a very common problem without quick and easy fixes. It is NOT held on by a bead of caulk. It is glued to a substrate under the fiberglass.

Some of us here migrated from laminated fiberglass walls to molded fiberglass, after dealing with such problems.
