Fiberglass Trailer Storage

My neighborhood will not allow storage of camper/trailers outside. I have a 2 car garage and could store either a 13' or 16' inside. IF it would fit height-wise. We have a standard garage door that appears to be almost 7' tall. I suspect very few of these type trailers would clear the the top of the entrance, particularly with roof air. I do have a friend who has a farm, I could store the camper there, but it would be outdoors. What types of issues/concerns? And can anyone recommend steps I could take to minimize damage/issues? I'm worried about degredation outside, as well as critters getting in..... Can anyone provide some feedback? Thanks!

It may be possible to get a trailer in a 7' door by letting air out of the tires , or a spare set of rims with no tires. I have 4 campers here in storage, only the Uhaul is outside. I put mouse traps in all of them, the spring type and the sticky pad type. Check them occasionally. I'm not sure about covering a trailer with a tarp, it may hold moisture in, or a plastic tarp could stick to the trailer or transfer color if in the hot sun. Some people like to jack up the trailer so wheels are off the ground and cover the tires to prevent sun damage. At least put boards under the tires. Remove battery, be sure all water is drained.

The specs on the Scamp Site state the 13ft is 7FT 6IN tall so should it not have an Air/C on the roof you could remove the wheels and roll it in on the hubs and should you not want to roll it on the hubs you can get a set of vehicle dollies that you place under the hubs and roll the thing into the garage.

There are some on this site that think you may break a hub by doing this.

The dollies put the hub really close to the floor.
