The previous owner replaced the front window with plywood & a small a/c unit. We want to replace it and found this sliding window on ebay. Dh wondered if the fact that it slides would cause problems during travel? He thought they needed to be stationary. What are your thoughts?

The thing to do is to either make or buy an exterior hinged cover. When it is secured in the down position, it relieves the wind pressure buffeting the front of the trailer. When hinged up, it provides a nice sun and rain shade.

It does not HAVE to be stationary.
My Fiber Stream has a factory installed front window very similar to what you found on eBay. As long as it is tempered safety glass, you are good to go! I know that facility that is selling the window. It is about 5 miles from my house. You can trust them.

Once it's installed, you just have to remember to latch it closed when the trailer is in motion.
