Yes! I have a
Beachcomber ‘79 - and it’s basically squishy and saggy
fiberglass from traffic at the door opening base. Also have a pullout step underneath which may contribute to the problem - will have to double check.
Haven’t fixed it yet, but spoke with someone who suggested screwing a piece of wood to it that fits and that adds support. So metal would work probably better if you can find a piece that fits.
