On a Casita the spiral deflector can be removed from the top vent opening and a shotgun cleaning brush can be used to clean it. I don't remember what gauge shotgun brush though

My 1999 17' SD does't have the "T" cap thing on the top.

Alright, thanks!

I'm tempted to see if I can access it from the top vent...but when I put the fridge back in last time, I was lazy and didn't remove the old caulking along the bottom, inside the camper...and therefore didn't put new caulking in. Which I know is a no-no...so I guess this is the motivation I needed to do it right.

I'll pull the fridge again.
