Furnace Atwood HF 8012

So I'm stumped. I recently changed the motor and it's been working great. Then today it just suddenly stopped making heat.

The pilot light is on. The motor is blowing, but it won't increase the fire outside of pilot level.

I checked the gas. It's full, no leaks on the line. Other gas appliances work fine.

Anyone know what else I can check? It's cold and I don't want to cut my trip short

This is version 1, not 2

Just like you gas furnace or gas cook stove in your home, you might need a new thermal coupler. The thing that sticks up by your pilot light.. or… you can try to take a torch or a long light and heat that thing up ( also cleans it off) . And see if that works. Worked both on my 50’s cookstove and my wall heater. Good luck. Just got a Burro 1986. Major fixer upper. Haven’t got to the heater yet.

Just a thought: I believe the 'thermo-couple' controls all gas flow, including the pilot, so it should be ok.I'm not sure how the main burner supply is controlled, but think it is fed via a solenoid valve (possibly 12V but more likely from the Thermocouple) with the circuit guarded by a 'High Limit' switch.
If your fan was failing, the high limit switch may have tripped and need resetting .
Note: I'm not familiar with your particular furnace but this is the concept with household gas furnaces: If you lose power (for fan) and there is a call for heat, the main burner will light, overheat the system, trip the 'safety', and prevent fire. But, the 'pilot' will stay on.

It sounds like time for a professional. To easy to have something bad happen when working with gas and not knowing what you are doing.

Three things it could be, sail switch, high limit switch, bad solenoid in the gas valve and or the thermocouple. Also the main board. Well that’s 5 .
