Gas Heater available for Uhaul

Removed the original gas heater from my Uhaul. It looks sketchy, old of course, and i see some rusty pin holes. Don't know if it's even service-able. It's probably trash, but if you want to make that decision yourself ... I'm in Central Florida.

I don't use message boards or really know much about them, but the system likely has a way for you to email me if you want the heater. I doubt it works.


The U-Haul service center over in Tampa had a bunch of the tail light fixtures which are totally illusive; extinct i believe by now. They threw them out - they had no idea anyone wanted them! How Awful!!!


Anyway, before i throw out this ol' heater.... It's all boxed up and i'll keep it until March 30, 2024.

Those tail light fixtures / adapters were originally made for a Uhaul box trailer that had rounded corners. I saw one at my local Uhaul rental dealer several years ago. I bought some when Uhaul put them up for sale on their eBay store. I also bought some of the rubber door bumpers for $1 each. I sold all those parts after we sold our CT13.

Where was the furnace located on the 85 CT 13 when new?

The camper I just acquired does not have a furnace/ heater? The camper will be a 3 season fishing/ pre-bonsai collecting machine. I think I will need a heater of some sort for spring and fall in the Colorado mountains.

I would welcome suggests on what to get and where to install it.

I am working thru wiring, interior and taillights and the heater and a new frig will be the next project.

But then I will need to tackle a heat source.
