Getting Trillium into garage

I'm sure I read on this forum someone used some smaller wheels to lower the height of their trillium to get through the garage door. Tried a search but couldn't find it again, it looks like I would need to drop it down a few inches. Anyone ever done this?

So you don't search the forum, you search the site/google? I'll do that next time, thanks. Also thanks to Roy, that's what I was looking for. After reading through that and the links from that, it appears that some bare rims would be the easiest. How small can you go? I found some 8" with 5 on 4.5 for $20

Maybe 10" or 12" would be better, the 8" would only give 4" from the center of the hub to the ground?

The second (Google) option to search uses the Google search engine rather than the one included with the forum software. A bit more robust.

You are welcome. How small you can go depends on the size of your spindle plate or drums. Take your tire off and measure.
