Gouge or scratch in FG

My friend went to put my gravel shield back on and scratched or gouged above the window area with the gravel shield hardware. I tried waxing it with meguiars but it's obviously a scratch cuz it wouldn't come out.

There's a chip in the FG above the scratch or gouge which I can use marine tex on but should I use that on the gouge? I have a dremel with a buffing and polishing kit too. Not sure if that would work with some polishing compound. Any thoughts?

Thank you so much!

Wendy
