But a private message to a moderator should get it done. Go to the main forum page and scroll down to the bottom. You should see a list of members. The moderators are in boldface. Click on one and look for an option to "Send Message" in the yellow bar.

Alternatively, at the very bottom of every page is a "Contact Us" link.

I'd actually like to know the answer to this question. Tomorrow, I'm going to look at a 1982 Scamp 13' foot for sale, which we'd need to pull with a Kia Sportage. Any thoughts welcome.

Last time I checked the Kia Soul had no rated towing capacity. I don't know about your Sportage- it may depend on the year. The place to start is your current owner's manual. If you decide you need to upgrade, you can download the owner's manual for most vehicles online. Once you determine if a vehicle is even rated to tow a Scamp, then you ask questions about reliability, real-world experience, ease of set-up, etc.

At a minimum, you need a vehicle rated to tow 2000 pounds for all but a few 13'ers.

Best wishes!
