Heat on Ensolite to smooth out

Has anyone tried to heat the ensolite behind the sink and stove to smooth it out so you can glue a piece of arborite to it or put up contact paper.

OK, after years of shooting 8mm and Super 8mm movie film, VHS and Hi8 videotape, and now digital video, I have finally taken the plunge and created my first ever How-To video for You Tube - How to Caulk and Paint Ensolite Seams in Vintage Fiberglass RV's!

thank you this is what I ended up doing. Just got lazy and didn't mask some, a big mistake, would have been a lot neater if I had. But all painted you can hardly tell.
