Help removing front running lights

Hi all. I am trying to remove the lense cap from my front running lights and I just can't figure out how to get them off. This is on a 1972 Trail Mite (similar to a Boler). I've twisted and pried. They don't budge. I don't want to break them because I love them. Any ideas?

If there isn't a notch in the white part where you can insert a screwdriver to pop the lens off then they could be a sealed unit that the lens isn't removable.

You should be able to just pop them off using a screwdriver. In the picture, you can see the rubber gasket right thru the lens. Just enlarge the pic and you will see it. If you do break the lens, it should have an name and number. Use them to find a replacement lens.

Paint?

Hi Mistie,

From photo it looks like there may be paint on the base
of the lens? If so, you might try scraping it off so the
lens can be popped off?

I'd wait until a nice warm day with the sun shining on them. I have broken a couple on trucks in the cold weather. Do they have a brand name on them? If they break, there are a LOT of small round replacement but you may need to replace all five to have them match and they will be LED. I see numbers on the lens, but can't quite make them out, google the numbers, that should tell you who made them, and you should be able to get info from that to pop them off
