Help With Wagonmaster 6000b Part

Hey guys, last night I was trying to put my furnace back into its shroud and the thermocouple on the bottom of the gas valve broke. I'm not sure what it's for but I assume it's to shut the gas valve off if the temperature gets too hot inside. Does anyone know where you can buy a gas valve for these things? Or is it possible to replace that thermo? In the picture below it's the one with the clamp on the bottom of the valve. Thanks!

there should be a part number on the gas controller valve...

my guess is that thermostat is for the air temp setting so the furnace can shut off when the incoming inside air is warm enough.
