Hi! I just gutted my Compact Jr (yikes) and need floor advice

After years of waiting, I finally have a little time to work on my trailer. My entire body hurts from removing the cassis and the floor. I'm having a tough time finding 10' marine plywood. One place has 10' x 5' Birch Marine ply for $160. I can only find really old OSB threads on this topic. Thoughts?
Also:
- I've read I should also seal the edges, top & bottom with epoxy.

Thank you all for suggestions & advice. I'm sure I'll need a lot of it.

*I have no idea why the photos are sideways/upside down...but I know everyone loves photos so I left them.

Well, now you have well and truly done it; it looks like you are prepared to get in there and get the job done right.

Pictures from a phone will post in their correct orientation if you take them in landscape format with the "button" to the right.

I have used this penetrating epoxy, from TotalBoat, and it applies very nicely. Goodluck. Bert

Floor

Hi Kris,
It's been 11 years since I restored my Compact II, but I'm pretty sure I used 3/4" or slighly less exterior plywood, 4 x 8 sheets, for my floor. I wrote in my thread what kind of adhesive I used for joints and edges, but I also think I used a floor levelling compound at seams to get smooth transitions. Then primed and painted with a good floor enamel, then put down sheet vinyl flooring only with adhesive tape. To this date I have no floor problems; the vinyl lays flat as a board. Durable, too.

I never did an off-frame job, but did weld a couple of cross members for more floor support.
Hope this helps.
