How to empty fresh water tank

I have a 2005 Independence motorhome with the fresh water tank under the master bed in the rear of the bus. How do I empty the tank without removing it. I see 3 valves and when I pull them open, nothing drains.. However, if the water hose is hooked and on, that's the only time water will flow out of the valves. But tank isn't emptying.

There is always a drain valve somewhere for the main water tank. It sounds like you are opening water line drains but...... you might try opening them again and also opening the filler to the water tank, it may be vacuum locked with the cap in place.

You might want to check into a Motorhome site for specific help. Most of us here are small molded fiberglass trailer owners/enthusiasts.

You're right. The filler cap was holding a vacuum lock. Thanks for the advice, it's draining now.
