The left side plumbing vent (driver's side) on our 2011
Casita has a broken cap. It's solely due to UV, it wasn't hit. And only the cap is broken into small pieces, the stem, so to speak, is still in good shape.
Looking at it from the roof, it's attached with rivets, but inside the bathroom, nothing shows through. I'm assuming that means that it's held in solely by blind rivets. I am also assuming that there's a space between the inner and outer shells.
We bought a new one, hoping that the cap was removable, but no. So it seems we have to replace the entire assembly.
Which we are loathe to do, we don't want any more holes in the roof than are already there and caulked.
Has anyone had any experience in replacing the entire assembly?
