A Montana couple bought my 91
Scamp a few years back. They hired a company to transport it from Wisconsin. I strongly suggested they insist on a flatbed trailer to carry the
Scamp. Later a couple showed up with a one ton pickup and no flatbed. They bragged to me how fast they could make the trip. Still it was no longer my
Scamp and the buyers hired these folks, not me. I heard later that one of the Scamp's new
tires blew out on the trip. I got the impression that the buyers were not satisfied with the Scamp or the transport, though the price paid would be quite a bargain in today's market. I don't think I would buy an RV unless I could pick it up myself.
