Hunter Jr - Popup sags, leaks

Greetings all,
I am a new member. I have read through a few threads, but didn't see this topic.

My wife recently purchased a 72 Compact Jr. project to eventually pull behind our Subaru Forester. In addition to outdated tires ('98 - or even '88?), the first thing noted is that the popup has sagged so that water pools and then runs in around the vent. Any recommendations? C

I believe some folks have installed ribs to reshape and stiffen the pop-top.

The “”Search Site/Google” option at the bottom of the search menu gives the best results when looking for old threads.

Join the Hunter Compact Facebook group. Many of us have that same issue. I just finished adding aluminum ribs. There are pictures and instructions from other people. Good luck!
