installing LED tail lights, question

I am getting these fellows made by Maxxima for the Burro, which should fit nicely in the original wedding-cake spaces.

Question is: will these wire into the existing wiring tail-light wiring just like regular lights? My RV shop foreman, aka my dad, hasn't worked with these before and isn't sure whether there's some sort of adapter function that needs wiring in along with the lights. If that makes sense.

Hook up the lights, if they don't work, reverse the wires.
LED lights are polarity sensitive. (Electricity will only run in 1 direction)

Send a message via Yahoo to Darwin Maring
They are polarity sensitive meaning, if you reverse the + and - leads, they will not lite up. Test them B 4 you install and mark the leads appropriately.

Jen, good choice... those lights will be bright! And since the whole idea is to be seen... I think you've accomplished that

They are LED Lights and wire up just like any other light...... If it was a cold cathode type light (which it isn't) it would need the separate box. If you feel uneasy then just for a test put an inline fuse on each lead and then test it off a battery to be sure it lights then after the test take the fuses off and wire it like a regular light to your trailer. I've installed many of these into semi trailers with no problems.
Wow....just noticed your from Philadelphia, we're just outside of reading,pa......not that many glass trailers in this area.

Okay, great info - thanks all!

Joe, yep, another pennsylvanian. I'll wave to you on my way back to Philly from Pittsburgh this weekend.
