Trailer: 1973 Boler
Posts: 21
Just bought this Boler.
The past owners had it for 1 year. And didn't have any of the history.
It is painted pea green right now. Underneath, the top parts is cream/white. The bottom has in a avocado colour.
The inside floor is the same green colour.
There are fins on the roof.
Not much else to report. They didn't have anymore info.
Does anyone know how I can find out what year it is?
It think there might be some info under the paint on the backside of the trailer. Where there could be a serial number I suppose.
But it's all painted over.
Thanks for the info!!
Cheers!
Sue!

Hi Susan
Check out the RESOURCE section to the left and go to the document centre. There are brochures and
manuals for several years there. I think that yours looks very much like the '73. To compare, look at window styles, lock assembly types, floors [wood or fiberglass], placement of outside utilities,[electrical connections, water inlets, etc] They seem to have moved around from year to year.
From what I can see from your picture your trailer looks very original. It even has the original wheel covers which are hard to find. Looks like an artists canvas sketched and ready to add colour. Have fun and keep us pictorally involved.

are your tail lights recessed and is the frame fully boxed or left open? That will rule out if it is a 71 or down

Maybe check the model numbers of the stove and fridge, see if that narrows down to what years that type was installed and on which Bolers.

Also some older cars used to put raised dates on the taillights, (if they are original) maybe check there.

Hi: My brothers 1972 Boler had recessed front reflectors(lower front corners) facing forward... Those seemed to be up to '72 then stopped!!! There is usually a paper listing equipment, weights, stats etc. on the inside of a cupboard door... and it should have an ownership like a car??? These should have dates etc. If you scrape enough paint off the tongue to re finish it there is usually a serial # stamped into the metal...but it is hard to find!!! In the years after '72 Bolers were made in several places making a mystery out of history

I like those recessed front lights. My 1970 does not have any of those either (or side marker lights for that matter!)

What may be more important than the actual model year or manufactured year is what the title documents say.
